The Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemns the unauthorized flight over the airspace of the Republic of Moldova by a drone-like aircraft, spotted last night near the villages of Berezlogi, Orhei district, and Dereneu, Călărași district, where it subsequently exploded mid-air, TRIBUNA reports.

According to the Ministry, such an incident represents an unacceptable violation of the country’s airspace and poses a direct threat to the security and safety of its citizens.

The Republic of Moldova strongly condemns such incidents and reiterates that the country’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and airspace must be fully respected.
