Thirty-seven political parties are eligible to participate in the elections in Gagauzia, including the Liberal Party (PL), which has nevertheless decided not to take part in the November 15 elections, TRIBUNA reports.

“PL will not participate in the elections in the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia because we no longer have an organization there,” Mihai Ghimpu, the party’s president, told TRIBUNA.

We remind readers that on November 15, elections will be held for the position of Governor (Bashkan) of Gagauzia, as well as for the 35 seats in the People’s Assembly of Gagauzia.
