Today, on the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova expressed its solidarity with the United States and the American people, who are commemorating the approximately 3,000 innocent lives lost in the attacks, TRIBUNA reports.
Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi, together with the country’s leadership and the diplomatic corps accredited in Chișinău, attended a commemorative ceremony held at the U.S. Embassy, where he paid tribute to those who lost their lives in the tragic attacks.
“Republic of Moldova stands with the United States and the international community in reaffirming our shared commitment to preventing and combating terrorism and to strengthening cooperation for a safer, more peaceful, and more stable world,” the Deputy Prime Minister stated.
