Prime Minister Vasile Tofan had a telephone conversation with his counterpart from the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Rob Jetten. The discussions focused on advancing the Republic of Moldova’s path toward European Union accession and developing bilateral economic cooperation, TRIBUNA reports.
The head of government emphasized Moldova’s interest in attracting more Dutch investment and establishing closer ties between companies from the two countries. According to the prime minister, the strong relations and shared vision between Chișinău and The Hague must be translated into concrete projects and new opportunities for businesses and citizens.
Vasile Tofan also mentioned his personal connection to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, where he studied and worked.
“The Kingdom of the Netherlands holds a special place in my personal journey. We want to capitalize on the excellent relations between our countries through increased Dutch investment, closer connections between companies, and strong cooperation as the Republic of Moldova advances toward European Union accession,” Prime Minister Vasile Tofan said.
