Igor Dodon, President of the Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova (PSRM), together with PSRM MP Bogdan Țîrdea, held a meeting with Alexander Valentín Rodríguez Salazar, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of Moldova, resident in Bucharest, TRIBUNA reports.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state of relations between the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Cuba, as well as prospects for developing and strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
Igor Dodon emphasized the importance of maintaining an open and constructive dialogue between Moldova and Cuba, as well as making use of opportunities for cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
The participants also exchanged views on international and regional developments and highlighted the importance of promoting relations based on mutual respect, dialogue and cooperation, for the benefit of both peoples.
