Government approves new measures to increase transparency in public procurement

The Government has approved new measures to increase transparency in public procurement. Contracting authorities will publish procurement plans and reports on contract execution on the electronic public procurement platform — the “State Register of Public Procurement” information system, TRIBUNA reports.

Currently, this information is published separately on institutions’ websites, while some authorities do not have their own websites. Under the new amendments, the information will be available through a single system.

This will give economic operators and civil society centralized access to information on planned procurements and contract execution, facilitating the monitoring of public procurement and increasing transparency throughout the process.
