Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov met today with Romania’s State Secretary for European Affairs, Clara Staicu, reports TRIBUNA.

The officials discussed the current stage of the Republic of Moldova’s EU accession negotiations, priorities for the coming period, and Romania’s support for advancing the country’s European integration process.

“We discussed the current stage of the Republic of Moldova’s EU accession negotiations, the priorities for the period ahead, and the support provided by Romania in advancing the European integration process,” Cristina Gherasimov said.

The Deputy Prime Minister thanked the Romanian authorities for their continued support, the expertise Romania shares with Moldova, and Bucharest’s strong voice in support of Moldova’s European future.
