Ion Ceban on National Army Day: I want military units to provide as much care, security, and opportunities for personal and moral development as possible

Ion Ceban, Mayor of Chisinau and leader of the National Alternative Movement party, issued a congratulatory message on the occasion of National Army Day, reports TRIBUNA.

“Happy National Army Day of the Republic of Moldova!

Respect to all young people who choose military service.

I want military units to provide as much care, security, and opportunities for personal and moral development as possible, and for there to be no more cases in which young people lose their lives or suffer injuries.

Our goal is to raise a self-confident generation for whom the future will be peaceful and secure, and which will look to the Republic of Moldova with confidence,” he said.

The mayor congratulated all service members who, through courage, discipline, and dedication, carry out their mission of protecting the country and its citizens with dignity. He expressed his respect and gratitude to veterans, as well as to their families, for the sacrifices they have made and the support they have provided.

“I want politicians to remember our young people and those who have completed military service not only when they need to organize a parade or provide security at protests. These people deserve better treatment from the state, starting from the moment they take the oath. The state’s care for our people, wherever they may be, must be the number one priority.

Peace to everyone, and may God protect the Republic of Moldova!
