Today, Prime Minister Vasile Tofan met with the Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic to the Republic of Moldova, Nikolaos Krikos. The officials discussed strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation between the two countries in areas of mutual interest, reports TRIBUNA.

An important topic of the discussions was the Republic of Moldova’s European integration agenda. Prime Minister Vasile Tofan thanked Greece for its consistent support for the country’s European path and reiterated the Government’s commitment to continuing reforms and advancing the EU accession process.

In this context, the Greek side expressed its readiness to continue providing technical assistance for the implementation of reforms and the strengthening of the institutional capacity of the Republic of Moldova.

The interlocutors also discussed the development of economic cooperation and attracting Greek investment into the country’s economy, including in the IT, pharmaceutical, agrotourism, and medical tourism sectors.
