The number of voters registered in the State Register of Voters as of September 1, 2026, stands at 3,306,783, reports TRIBUNA.

Of the total number of voters registered in the State Register of Voters (3,306,783), 2,763,156 citizens with voting rights are assigned to second-level administrative-territorial units.

The difference consists of citizens of the Republic of Moldova who do not have a registered place of residence or stay, including persons who have officially emigrated abroad (264,903 people), as well as citizens with voting rights who are registered as residing in the administrative-territorial units on the left bank of the Dniester, currently outside the sovereign control of the constitutional authorities of the Republic of Moldova (278,724 people).
