This week, the United States joins the Republic of Moldova in celebrating thirty-five years of independence, a powerful testament to the tenacity and self-determination of the Moldovan people.

As part of that celebration, members of the North Carolina National Guard will march in Moldova’s August 27th Independence Day parade in Chisinau. These representatives of America will join participants from around the world, honoring Moldova’s three and a half decades of sovereignty, neutrality, and freedom.

The United States is proud to be a part of celebrations marking this important date.
