Later, the politicians paid tribute to the memory of the fallen heroes at the Șerpeni bridgehead, a site marked by fierce battles in the spring of 1944. They also organized a car rally dedicated to the event, with a convoy of vintage and modern cars traveling from Chișinău to the Șerpeni bridgehead.

The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) approved several decisions concerning the parliamentary elections.

The Commission decided to establish 301 polling stations abroad for the parliamentary elections. At the same meeting, the CEC registered a list of 56 parliamentary candidates submitted by the Liberal Party and a list of 66 candidates submitted by the electoral bloc “Blocul Unirea Națiunii.”

The Commission rejected the application to register the list of parliamentary candidates submitted by the “NOI – Noua Opțiune Istorică” political party, as well as the application submitted by the “Speranța – Надежда” Movement of Professionals.
