Ion Ceban, the mayor of the capital, posted a photo and wrote that he had undergone an almost seven-hour surgical procedure, TRIBUNA reports.

“After an almost seven-hour surgery, I can tell you that, at this stage, everything is fine.

Many thanks to the doctors and to all of you for your kind thoughts.

I wish everyone good health, as well as health to their loved ones, regardless of anyone’s opinions,” the mayor said.
