Prime Minister Vasile Tofan had a telephone conversation with his Czech counterpart, Andrej Babiš. The officials discussed support for the European path of the Republic of Moldova and the development of bilateral relations for the benefit of the citizens of both states.
The official thanked the Czech Republic for its constant support, including its contribution to strengthening the resilience of the Republic of Moldova, as well as its support for the European agenda.
The two officials underlined that European integration contributes to increasing competitiveness, attracting investments, and economic development. In this context, Tofan said that Moldova is ready to move forward in the EU accession process, based on the results achieved and the reforms implemented.
The prime ministers discussed opportunities to deepen economic cooperation and attract new Czech investments in the Republic of Moldova. The parties agreed to maintain close dialogue and continue developing bilateral cooperation.
