Chișinău Mayor Ion Ceban said that the municipality has done everything possible, built and prepared the necessary infrastructure to respond to critical situations at the Vadul lui Vodă Water Intake Station, TRIBUNA reports.

According to the mayor, all of these systems will be connected and put into operation only if necessary.

“I don’t want to hear any more, and neither do people want to hear every day, scare stories and the constant back-and-forth between the authorities.

What is needed is maturity, responsibility, and intervention when the situation requires it,” Ion Ceban said.
