The Government approved changes to the diplomatic service at today’s meeting, TRIBUNA reports.

• Sergiu Gurduza was recalled from his position as Consul General in Istanbul and appointed Ambassador to Portugal.
• Vladimir Sacagiu was appointed Consul General in Istanbul.
• Mihail Căpățînă was recalled from his position as Consul General in Frankfurt.
• Mihail Mîțu was appointed, concurrently, Ambassador to Serbia and Montenegro, with residence in Bucharest.
