Prime Minister Vasile Tofan attended the “Diaspora at Home” Festival, held in Costești, Ialoveni District. The event brought together local residents, members of the diaspora, local producers, and entrepreneurs in a program dedicated to the community and local traditions, TRIBUNA reports.
In his message to the participants, the Prime Minister praised the community’s economic dynamism and the contribution of people who work, invest, and create jobs:
“Costești is an example of local development based on hard work, entrepreneurship, and people’s involvement. I would like to see more and more communities like this throughout the Republic of Moldova.”
The Prime Minister emphasized that economic development is a Government priority, noting that the authorities will act responsibly and efficiently to meet the expectations of citizens and the business community.
The event’s program included family activities, a fair featuring traditional craftspeople, and a musical program.
