Joseph Burkhalter has been confirmed as the United States Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova, TRIBUNA reports.

“Congratulations to Ambassador-designate Joseph Burkhalter on his confirmation by the U.S. Senate as the next U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova. We look forward to welcoming Ambassador-designate Burkhalter to Chișinău and working together to further strengthen the enduring partnership between the United States and the Republic of Moldova,” the U.S. Embassy in Chișinău wrote.
