The priorities of the Government’s agenda and the main areas of cooperation with development partners were discussed today by Prime Minister Vasile Tofan and representatives of international organizations and agencies operating in the Republic of Moldova, TRIBUNA reports.

The Prime Minister thanked the country’s international partners for their consistent support, noting that the assistance they have provided has played a significant role in helping Moldova overcome the crises of recent years and advance reforms in key areas essential for modernization.

“The support of our partners is essential for implementing reforms and achieving the Republic of Moldova’s development objectives. That is why you will find in this Government an open, transparent, and accountable partner in the management of public resources. Through integrity, tangible results, and honest dialogue with our citizens, we will rebuild trust in the state and, together, deliver the changes our country needs,” Prime Minister Vasile Tofan said.

The Prime Minister outlined the Government’s key priorities, including advancing the country’s European integration process, strengthening the economy, and building an efficient state capable of responding more effectively to citizens’ needs.

In this context, he emphasized the importance of directing international assistance toward strengthening the capacity of the public administration to implement reforms, manage complex projects, and deliver tangible results for citizens.

Among the issues discussed were the current challenges facing the energy sector, the hydrological situation on the Dniester River, cooperation in security and defense, infrastructure development projects, economic growth, and labor market development.

Particular attention was given to measures aimed at increasing women’s participation in the labor market and making better use of their economic potential.
