General Mayor Ion Ceban assures that the municipality of Chisinau will have water, TRIBUNA reports.

“Taking into account all the circumstances, we are doing everything possible and everything within our power and capabilities to be fully prepared in every respect.

In addition to the complex works carried out over the past two weeks at the water intake station, which are still ongoing, we have prepared intervention protocols and the necessary equipment.

Today, we presented part of the fleet that has been prepared.

As of today, according to the established protocols, we have prepared and designated 213 locations for placing water tanks and distributing water across all sectors of the capital.

These include:

– 75 public locations;

– 108 kindergartens;

– 30 medical institutions;

as well as dozens of other strategic institutions.

The municipality has 253 IBC water tanks, 20 tankers and 45 specialized vehicles at its disposal.

The following water intake points have been designated:

1. Petricani water intake;

2. Balisevsk water intake;

3. Ghidighici water intake;

4. Ialoveni water intake;

as well as 26 wells and the ‘Chisinau Mine’.

The available resources make it possible to organize the transportation and distribution of water to residents, kindergartens, hospitals and other socially important institutions.

The City Hall is ready to intervene at any moment, depending on how the situation develops, by gradually activating the established measures, increasing existing capacities and ensuring priority water supply to essential institutions,” the mayor stated.
