The Tofan Government has officially taken office. Members of the Cabinet took the oath of office this morning, TRIBUNA reports.

The Tofan Government reaffirmed its five key priorities:

• Reviving the economy.
• Leveraging EU accession to modernize the country.
• Building an efficient, digital, and fair state.
• Strengthening security and the rule of law.
• Improving citizens’ quality of life.

Prime Minister Vasile Tofan stated that “the priority of this Government is to restore confidence, energy, and initiative in the economy—not through optimistic speeches, but through decisions that show people it is worth investing, working, and building their future here at home.”

“Our ambition is for the Republic of Moldova to become the most entrepreneur-friendly country in Europe,” Prime Minister Vasile Tofan emphasized.

The newly appointed Cabinet consists of 16 members overseeing 14 ministries.

The positions are as follows:

• Eugen Osmochescu – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization.
• Vladimir Bolea – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development.
• Cristina Gherasimov – Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration.
• Mihai Popșoi – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
• Valeriu Chiveri – Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration.

The remaining ministers are:

• Dan Perciun – Minister of Education and Research.
• Daniella Misail-Nichitin – Minister of Internal Affairs.
• Dorin Junghietu – Minister of Energy.
• Vladislav Cojuhari – Minister of Justice.
• Natalia Plugaru – Minister of Labour and Social Protection.
• Gheorghe Hajder – Minister of Environment.
• Anatolie Nosatîi – Minister of Defence.
• Victoria Belous – Minister of Finance.
• Alexandru Gasnaș – Minister of Health.
• Radu Musteața – Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry.
• Dan Suruceanu – Minister of Culture.
