The Socialist Party’s parliamentary faction (PSRM) participated today in consultations with the prime minister-designate, Vasile Tofan, TRIBUNA reports.
Igor Dodon, the leader of the faction, said that during the meeting they raised a number of questions regarding the priorities of the future Government and the proposed solutions to the problems facing the Republic of Moldova and its citizens.
“We are waiting for the presentation of the government program in order to analyze the proposed measures in detail. At the same time, our position remains consistent: we will not vote to approve the Government and will continue to support the need to hold early parliamentary elections.
We are convinced that only the citizens, through their vote, should decide who governs the Republic of Moldova, and that early elections represent the most democratic solution to overcoming the current political crisis,” the politician said.
