Today, soldiers of the National Army participated in the military parade held in Paris to mark the National Day of the French Republic.
The National Army was represented by the Colour Guard of the Honour Guard Company. Moldovan service members marched along the Champs-Élysées alongside their counterparts from 35 partner countries.
According to figures provided by the French Ministry of the Armed Forces, approximately 8,500 military personnel and security service representatives took part in the event. The parade featured 98 aircraft, 33 helicopters, 315 vehicles—including 98 motorcycles—and 193 horses.
The participation of Moldovan service members in one of France’s most important military ceremonies contributes to strengthening cooperation between the armed forces of Moldova and those of its partner countries.
