Prime Minister-designate Vasile Tofan has begun discussions with ministers from the Munteanu Government as he moves forward with forming his team and preparing the government program, TRIBUNA reports.
“This week, we are preparing the government program that I will present to Parliament in order to seek a vote of confidence. I will also hold consultations with professional associations from various sectors, civil society representatives, and parliamentary factions.
Today and tomorrow, I am meeting with each minister to discuss the most important objectives for the next 12 months, the existing bottlenecks in their respective sectors, as well as the European integration priorities that must be implemented at maximum speed.
What should be changed, what should be accelerated, what is not working and needs to be done differently — any government decision must, first and foremost, be based on its impact on people’s lives,” the prime minister-designate announced.
