The National Political Council of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) voted last night to nominate Vasile Tofan as the candidate for Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova. His candidacy received 162 votes.

PAS stated: “The Republic of Moldova needs a strong, competent and determined Government — one that will continue the reforms already launched, strengthen state institutions and accelerate our European path.

European Union integration remains our national project and our commitment to the citizens. We will continue to work with the same responsibility for a European, safe and prosperous Moldova.”
