President Maia Sandu commented on the scandal involving her cousin, Anastasia Taburceanu, former spokesperson of “MoldATSA”, TRIBUNA reports.

Asked about the situation, the president said she has several relatives working in state institutions. She also mentioned that she regrets what happened in Anastasia Taburceanu’s case.

“I cannot provide a list now of all my relatives. Some work in state institutions, some have been there for a long time. Some work in private institutions. They have built their careers over time and earn their salaries honestly.

I do not understand what happened in Anastasia Taburceanu’s case, I do not recognize her. In every family there is someone who makes a blunder that gives you a headache. I regret this,” Maia Sandu stated.
