The Speaker of Parliament, Igor Grosu, held a meeting with the U.S. Congressional delegation led by Senator Ted Budd. The discussions focused on strengthening the partnership between the Republic of Moldova and the United States of America, TRIBUNA reports.
The head of the legislature emphasized that the constant support provided by the U.S. directly contributes to Moldova’s energy security, cybersecurity, and the strengthening of the country’s resilience. In this context, the officials discussed continuing cooperation in these areas, including combating disinformation, attracting American investments, and developing new joint projects.
“Moldova needs strong partners, and the United States has shown that they stand with us when it matters most,” Igor Grosu remarked.
