Igor Dodon, leader of the parliamentary faction of the Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova (PSRM), is paying a working visit to Strasbourg, where the summer session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe has begun, TRIBUNA reports.
Dodon stated that during the session he will address several topics of importance for the Republic of Moldova, including the situation in Gagauzia, as well as other issues of major interest for the country’s citizens.
“Participation in this session provides an opportunity to draw the attention of European partners to developments in the Republic of Moldova and to promote a constructive dialogue on addressing existing challenges in line with democratic values and the principles of the rule of law,” he noted.
