Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu stated that last week the Republic of Moldova opened negotiations on the first cluster of chapters in the EU accession process. Today in Brussels, European leaders reconfirmed that this path continues, TRIBUNA reports.
According to the Prime Minister, in the relationship with the European Union, nothing is offered “out of courtesy”.
He stressed that every achievement is the result of work done at home: stronger institutions, ongoing reforms, and modernised infrastructure. European integration means better roads, upgraded schools and hospitals, investment, jobs, and more opportunities for people.
“We still have a lot of work ahead. But today we know that when the Republic of Moldova delivers results, they are recognised. The future of the Republic of Moldova is in the European Union,” Munteanu underlined.
