“It is an extraordinary honor to receive the vote of confidence for a new term as PAS president. Ten years ago, we embarked on this journey together with you — a journey that few of us imagined would unfold this way. Yet we are still here: strong, organized, and unique, and I sincerely thank you for that,” Igor Grosu said after being re-elected as president of the Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS), reports TRIBUNA.
The politician also thanked the citizens.
“This party was created and continues to exist because of them, because of their trust that Moldova can have political parties that practice honest politics.
From the previous Congress until today, we have succeeded in becoming the party that won three elections together — all of them crucial for ensuring the irreversibility of our European path. We succeeded!
Since the last Congress, we have also traveled the road from being a candidate country to a country that has already opened its first cluster in the accession process. We are now fully engaged in the work of joining the European Union,” he said.
Igor Grosu added that the party has evolved from a team in the process of being built into a team that is building — building the country’s European future.
“But we are only halfway there. I commit myself to continue working alongside the team of vice presidents and members of the Permanent Bureau so that we become the party that brings Moldova into the European Union. That is why people placed their trust in us, and that trust is the force that unites us and keeps us together,” the PAS leader emphasized.
