Minister Vladislav Cojuhari will sign today the agreement through which the Republic of Moldova joins the Academy of European Law in Trier (ERA).
The agreement opens an important framework for cooperation in the field of justice and European legal training. By joining ERA, the Republic of Moldova strengthens access for legal professionals to specialised training on European Union legislation, the application of European standards, and the harmonisation of national legislation with the EU acquis.
Judges, prosecutors, lawyers, civil servants, and other legal professionals will participate in training programmes, seminars, and exchanges of best practices in the field of European law. These opportunities will contribute to developing the skills needed to implement European standards in professional practice.
ERA is a continuous legal education institution founded at the initiative of the European Parliament, with the mission of promoting knowledge and the proper application of European Union law.
During his working visit to Trier, Germany, the minister will hold meetings with representatives of ERA and the European Commission (DG JUST). Discussions will focus on cooperation in the field of justice and projects that can support the Republic of Moldova’s European path.
