Igor Grosu, president of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS), had “a very good discussion” yesterday with Manfred Weber, president of the European People’s Party, who is visiting the Republic of Moldova for the first time, TRIBUNA reports.
The two spoke about our country’s European path, the next steps in the EU accession process, and the importance of a united, strong, and prosperous Europe.
“PAS is part of the European People’s Party family – the largest political family in the European Parliament. We are glad to share the same values and the same vision for Europe’s future. We expressed our appreciation for the constant support the EPP has offered to the Republic of Moldova, including its backing for the opening of accession negotiations,” Igor Grosu said.
