The 7th Plenum of the Central Committee of the Party of Communists of the Republic of Moldova (PCRM) took place yesterday, TRIBUNA reports.
According to the approved agenda, participants examined issues related to the participation of PCRM representatives in the 3rd International Anti‑Fascist Forum and the 9th Plenum of the Central Council of the Union of Communist Parties – CPSU, held in Moscow between 24–26 May 2026. The report on this topic was presented by Diana Caraman, Secretary of the PCRM Central Committee.
During the discussions, participants emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation among fraternal communist parties and coordinating joint actions to defend historical truth, the principles of social justice, peace, and international solidarity.
The Plenum also reviewed matters related to preparations for the 11th PCRM Congress, including the theses of the Central Committee’s Activity Report, proposed amendments to the party’s Statute, the draft of the new edition of the PCRM Program, and organizational issues concerning the Congress.
All items on the agenda were adopted with corresponding decisions.
The PCRM Congress is scheduled for 4 June 2026.
