The number of voters registered in the State Register of Voters as of June 2, 2026, is 3,304,312. Of the total number of voters registered in the State Register of Voters (3,304,312), 2,759,245 citizens with voting rights are assigned to second-level administrative-territorial units, according to TRIBUNA.

The difference consists of persons who hold the citizenship of the Republic of Moldova but do not have a registered domicile or residence, including those who have officially emigrated abroad (266,935 persons), as well as citizens with voting rights whose registered domicile is in the administrative-territorial units on the left bank of the Dniester River, which are temporarily outside the sovereign control of the constitutional authorities of the Republic of Moldova (278,132 persons).
