President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, held phone conversations this week with the President of Lithuania, Gitanas Nausėda, the Prime Minister of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen, and the Prime Minister of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev, TRIBUNA reports.
The discussions focused on Moldova’s progress in the EU accession process and the next steps needed to advance negotiations. All interlocutors reaffirmed their strong support for Moldova’s European path.
These calls are part of the President’s broader diplomatic efforts in recent weeks, which also included working visits and meetings with Estonia’s President Alar Karis, Estonia’s Prime Minister Kristen Michal, the Prime Minister of the Netherlands Rob Jetten, Czech President Petr Pavel, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, and European Parliament President Roberta Metsola.
