Igor Dodon, leader of the Socialists, has called on the Government to take action to keep prices under control, TRIBUNA reports.
The politician noted that both the prime minister and ministers now acknowledge that the country will be affected by price increases for most products. In this context, he argued that the authorities are obliged to strengthen regulatory mechanisms and prevent potential speculative price hikes.
“The state has all the necessary instruments to intervene in this situation — such a precedent already exists, including in 2008. Therefore, we are calling on the Government to take active measures to keep prices under control,” he underlined.
