Séamus Boland, President of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), is on an official visit to the Republic of Moldova to discuss the country’s EU accession process and ensure transparency in decision-making.
His agenda includes meetings with:
- Maia Sandu, President of Moldova
- Igor Grosu, Speaker of Parliament
- Alexandru Munteanu, Prime Minister
- Cristina Gherasimov, Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration
- Leadership of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection
Additionally, Boland will hold consultations with civil society, business associations, trade unions, and the private sector.
The EESC is a consultative body of the EU that represents civil society, businesses, and trade unions, ensuring that European policies reflect the real interests and needs of citizens.
