Speaker of Parliament Igor Grosu met with Walter Rosenkranz, President of the National Council of Austria, during his official visit to Vienna, TRIBUNA reports.

The officials discussed the Republic of Moldova’s European integration path. Igor Grosu expressed gratitude for Austria’s steady support in the country’s EU accession process. “It is important support that truly matters at these key moments,” the Speaker underlined.

Igor Grosu also reiterated that Austria remains a reliable partner for the Republic of Moldova. This is reflected in the numerous joint projects in areas that directly improve citizens’ lives, such as education, public health and agriculture. “At the same time, we are learning from Austria’s experience and building partnerships that help us advance more rapidly on the European path,” Grosu added.
