The Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Cristina Gherasimov, welcomed in Chișinău Agnese Lāce, Latvia’s Minister of Culture, who is on an official visit to Moldova, TRIBUNA reports.

“We have much to learn from our Latvian colleagues in the process of European integration, including in areas such as cultural promotion, protection of cultural heritage, media policies, and support for the audiovisual sector. I also discussed with Minister Lāce how we can expand experience‑sharing and joint projects, including within the Creative Europe programme,” said Cristina Gherasimov.

Deputy Prime Minister Gherasimov thanked the authorities in Riga for their friendship, for supporting Moldova in strengthening institutional capacities, and for backing the European path of the Republic of Moldova.
