A delegation of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with the Republic of Moldova from the Sejm of the Republic of Poland will pay a visit to Moldova between 8–10 April, TRIBUNA reports.
At the Parliament, the Polish MPs are scheduled to meet with the Speaker, Igor Grosu, and with the Deputy Speaker and Co‑Chair of the Moldova–Poland Parliamentary Assembly, Doina Gherman. A meeting is also planned with the members of the Friendship Group with the Republic of Poland, chaired by MP Larisa Voloh.
The Polish deputies will also visit the Gagauz autonomy, where meetings are planned at the Comrat City Hall, as well as visits to the “Mihai Eminescu” Theoretical High School in Comrat and the History Museum in Avdarma.
Discussions during the visit will focus on opportunities to strengthen Moldovan‑Polish cooperation, including at parliamentary level, as well as on Poland’s experience in the European Union accession process and the practices that could be useful for the Republic of Moldova.
