Ion Ceban: “The capital, home to one million people, is not the Parliament hall where a few lights are switched off for show”

Chișinău Mayor Ion Ceban says the state of emergency and the panic created by some government officials regarding possible power outages in the city are unacceptable, TRIBUNA reports.

“The capital of the country, where one million people live, is not the Parliament hall where a few lights are switched off just for show. We are talking about people’s safety,” the mayor emphasized.

Regarding the state of emergency, Ion Ceban calls for its immediate removal, as well as for the Government to present a public report on its actions during this period.
