President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu will be in Bratislava tomorrow, 26 March, for an official visit at the invitation of her Slovak counterpart, Peter Pellegrini, TRIBUNA reports.
Discussions will focus on strengthening bilateral relations across several areas, as well as on Slovakia’s support for Moldova’s EU accession efforts. The two heads of state will attend the signing of a bilateral agreement in the field of social protection and will hold a joint press conference.
The President will also meet with the President of the National Council, Richard Raši, and will take part in a business forum organized on the occasion of the visit, where opportunities for expanding economic cooperation between Bratislava and Chișinău will be discussed. In the margins of the event, cooperation agreements are expected to be signed between the investment agencies and chambers of commerce of the two countries.
