The National Alternative Movement (MAN) is calling for an emergency convening of Parliament to approve urgent measures for citizens in response to rising fuel prices, TRIBUNA reports.
Ion Ceban, the leader of MAN, stated that the party is requesting:
- temporary reduction or suspension of excise duties;
- application of a special VAT rate for fuel;
- stricter market oversight and action against speculative practices;
- economic support for transport operators, farmers, and local administrations;
- support measures for the population, including income adjustments
