At the same meeting, the draft agenda of the congress was approved, and the representation quota for delegations from each territorial organization was established. In the coming period, territorial conferences will be held.

At the same time, Vasile Bumacov, former Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry and former ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to Japan and South Korea, was elected Vice President of the party. He stated that he decided to actively engage in the party’s activity, describing the team as competent, honest, and dedicated, making consistent efforts to bring about the positive changes expected by citizens.

The Secretary General and acting chairman, Iurie Cazacu, presented a review of the party’s main activities and outlined priorities for the upcoming period. These include strengthening existing territorial organizations and creating new ones where they are lacking, reinforcing internal party structures, attracting new prominent members, and developing cooperation with the Social Democratic Party in Romania.

The meeting was held in an interactive format, with members expressing their views on the party’s involvement in the country’s socio-political life and the need to maintain constant and direct dialogue with citizens.

The European Social Democratic Party reaffirmed its commitment to remain a united team dedicated to promoting national interest, social equity, and improving the population’s standard of living.
