The Ministry of Foreign Affairs firmly condemns the overflight of the airspace of the Republic of Moldova by a Shahed‑type drone on the morning of 14 March 2026, in the Cimișlia region, near the locality of Troițcoe, TRIBUNA reports.

“Such incidents represent a serious violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country.
The Republic of Moldova firmly condemns these actions and denounces the war of aggression waged by the Russian Federation against Ukraine, which brings suffering, loss, and destruction to Ukraine and severely affects regional security, directly endangering the safety of the citizens of the Republic of Moldova,” the statement reads.

In this context, the Republic of Moldova reaffirms its commitment to strengthening peace and national security and will continue all necessary efforts, in cooperation with the competent national institutions and international partners, to protect its territory and population.
