Ion Ceban, the General Mayor of Chișinău, addressed President Maia Sandu and the Speaker of Parliament, Igor Grosu, accusing them of wanting to remove him from the leadership of the capital, TRIBUNA reports.
“Here is some information I want to make public for the first time, addressing it directly to two people and to all those who cater to their whims and hysterics.
I am addressing Maia Sandu and Igor Grosu, as well as those who eat out of their hand.
No matter what nonsense you tell the embassies, claiming that I am a threat, no matter what stories you feed to partners, economic agents or my colleagues in the team, saying that you will soon do everything possible to remove me — know that I am not afraid of you,” the mayor declared.
Ion Ceban said that all the messages and “hysterics” reach him.
“I just want to tell you one thing — you will not silence me through blackmail, nonsense or gossip,” he concluded.
