The Presidents of the Parliaments of the “Odesa Triangle” – the Republic of Moldova, Romania, and Ukraine – have signed a joint declaration expressing support for Ukraine and for European integration, TRIBUNA reports.
The three parliaments firmly condemn the Russian Federation’s illegal invasion, list the crimes committed, and reaffirm their full support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, stressing the need to maintain sanctions and continue documenting war crimes. The document also underscores the importance of sustaining and strengthening military, financial, and political assistance to Ukraine, viewing this support as essential for the security of the entire European continent.
The declaration further states that the accession of Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova to the European Union holds major strategic value for regional stability and calls for the removal of artificial obstacles in the negotiation process.
The signatories reaffirm their commitment to deepen cooperation within the “Odesa Triangle” in order to counter hybrid threats and advance the European objectives of their states, urging the international community to remain united until Ukraine’s full sovereignty is restored.
