The State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Valeriu Mija, held a meeting with the delegation of the Foreign Policy Committee of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Denmark, currently on a working visit to Chișinău, TRIBUNA reports.
The talks focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation, Denmark’s consistent support for the Republic of Moldova’s European integration path, as well as the latest security developments in the region. The interlocutors discussed the efforts of the authorities in Chișinău to enhance state resilience and counter hybrid threats.
State Secretary Valeriu Mija presented the Republic of Moldova’s priorities in the EU accession process and expressed appreciation for Denmark’s support in promoting reforms and advancing Moldova’s dialogue with European institutions. The importance of continued coordination with European partners was emphasized, particularly in the context of the regional security situation and support for Ukraine.
Both sides reaffirmed their interest in deepening political dialogue and expanding cooperation in areas such as energy, digitalization, investment, and institutional capacity‑building, including through intensified interparliamentary and sectoral contacts.
