On 24–25 February, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, Mihai Popșoi, will undertake a working visit to Geneva and Bern, Switzerland, TRIBUNA reports.
In Bern, Mihai Popșoi will meet with the Federal Councillor and Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation, Ignazio Cassis. In Geneva, he will participate in the high‑level segment of the 61st session of the UN Human Rights Council, where he will deliver a plenary address.
The programme of the visit also includes participation in high‑level side events as well as several official meetings.
On 26 and 27 February, Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi will be in Vienna, where he will meet with Austria’s Federal Minister for European and International Affairs, Beate Meinl‑Reisinger, and will take part in the OSCE Permanent Council meeting, where he will present the priorities of Moldova’s mandate at the Chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe.
During his visit to Austria, the Moldovan Foreign Minister will also meet with Moldovan citizens residing in the federal states.
