Cristina Gherasimov in Ireland: The Republic of Moldova is valued for its resilience against disinformation and propaganda

Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov held a meeting with John Lahart, Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs and Trade; Barry Ward, Chair of the Committee on European Affairs; and Senator Martin Conway, Chair of the Ireland–Moldova Friendship Group, TRIBUNA reports.

“We exchanged views on where the Republic of Moldova stands on its European path, the steps we plan to take in the coming period, and the role of Parliament in the EU accession process,” Cristina Gherasimov stated.

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that the Republic of Moldova is recognized for its resilience in the face of disinformation and propaganda, and especially for its efforts to advance on the road toward EU membership.
